Jump List is a very unique feature in Windows 7 that allows the users to manage the programs directly from taskbar. Jump list also aids the users by storing the recent history. This feature is really good for private computers, but for shared computers it can create privacy issues. However, there is a way by which one can control the storing history of jump list.
The given procedure should be followed to manage the history data of Jump List.
* Open the Jump List for the application whose history you want to disable.
* Select any recent item and select the option of Remove from this List.
Here is another simpler method.
* Right-click on taskbar and open properties.
* Select the Start Menu tab and deselect the option of Store and display recently opened items in the Start menu and the taskbar.
* Press the Apply All button to erase the Jump List history.
Here's wishing you a Good Boot
