One of the most often complaints I receive from Office 2007 and even 2010 users is they wish they could access the old 2003 menu until they were able to master the 2007/2010 ribbon menus.
Well with UBitMenu can help.
This plug-in adds a new “Menu” entry to the Office 2007 ribbon (specifically in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). When clicked, your ribbon displays the classic Office 2003 menu, complete with most the buttons and file menus you’re familiar with.
Even if you’re keen on the Office 2007/2010 ribbon, UBitMenu is a convenient tool to ease the transition from 2003 to 2007/2010.
UBitMenu is a free download for non-commercial use.
Download English UBitMenu for private use (free for private use). This setup will work with Office 2007 and 2010.
Close all open Office programs before installing!
After installing UBitMenu, you'll see a new tab next to Home appropriately named Menu. Click it and you'll find File, Edit, View, Insert, Format, and all the rest of those long-lost drop-downs. Even better, UBitMenu retains most of Office’s newer features, like the more robust Save As submenu. You get the best of both worlds.
Here's wishing you a Good Boot
