Custom fonts are way to express the originality and personality of the content. Considering the importance of custom fonts, Microsoft has incorporated a feature in Windows 7 which makes it easy to install and manage the custom fonts.
Follow the given procedure to install custom fonts in your PC.
Download the custom fonts from the internet. There are many websites that offer custom fonts free for download.
Make sure to download it in Windows format and file should have .ttf extension. Sometimes the file is in zip form and you cannot assess if it has .ttf extension or not, so go ahead and download it.
If the file is zipped, then first extract it. Otherwise directly double click the .ttf file
It will open the font previewer.
Click the install button.
You can also directly install the font and skip the previewer window. For this, simply right-click the font and click install. It will directly install the font without showing preview.
To confirm your font is installed correctly, click on the Start Menu and type font to open the Font Control Panel. Here you will see all the installed fonts. Scroll down to locate your font and verify if it is working correctly.
